Warriors Kill Stuff Like Whoaa
This may just be me, but I worked a warrior up to a whopping level two, and he is killing stuff WAY faster than ANY of my other Level 2 characters... is it just me, or do these things kill stuff way fast? I have a Necro who I just specced War as a 2nd prof (I've heard the bashing for this strat, don't bug me, my char reminds me of WCIII's Death Knight)... anyway, I find this Warrior to kill stuff WICKED fast, taking a sword and getting an enemy deeply wounded... does this balance out, or do Wars always kill stuff this fast?

warriors are good, but i still prefer my Necro/Warrior. I found that i was able to kill much easier with him then my Warrior

That's because Warrior's are easier to learn. Not more powerful, just easier.
Once you get really good, you'll see that other classes have benefits as well. Some, like the Mesmer, can be very subtle and dangerous.

Its fine and dandy when you are a warrior taking out one or two at a time but if its more then that you are dead. Whereas an Elementalist can just blow up 5 things at a time while you mope at the respawn.

Balances really shift from the lower to upper levels. Wars are a great example because they own when lower levels, but not as much in the higher levels. Im a mes so i noticed it in conjure phantasm-its really awesome when your fighting low level enemies, but when im fighting lvl 20's it doesnt cut it. Now i'm not using it at all...so yea.
oh yea Mesmers OWN

My friend is a 20 W/Mo, and he hates the little necro bettles in the Crystal Desert, because he cannot keep up any buffs at all against them, and they slaughter him XD. Of course, that's when my elementalist with AoE come to shine.

Don't know what kind of warriors you have played, but I have not been getting any weaker at level 16+
Then again, im not the average cookie cutter warrior/monk, so that may be it.

Try playing a low level mesmer with conjure phantasm that does -5 hp degen, and see if your warrior can match him That much of HP degen is just deadly at low levels.

Warriors in pre-sear
At low levels and in pre-sear especially you are at the mercy of the skills available to you. The sword line is gifted with a combination that is great at low levels, and that many people continue to use to lvl 20. Bleeding is incredibly effective against low hp enemies, and a deep wound is a 20% off sale.
If you judge your character by how fast they kill at level 2, you will misjudge many class combinations just because of the skills available to them.

Yes, there is a cookie cutter. Mostly is a sword/shield build.
Right now at 16 im 10(9 +1) strength, 9 hammer, 4 healing.
I love it. I tank for level 18+ groups all the time.
